Pete Souza: Two Presidents, One Photographer was the first exhibitionI have ever designed for the gallery. Balancing two opposing political parties, styles of photography, and themes was a challenge, but it was fun. These photos are extremely important to our nation’s history, so it was important to manage the design around them effectively, all while representing both presidents equally. This was the first stop on this particular version of the show’s tour, so I had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Souza and get an impression from him about the effectiveness of the designs. The title slide for Pete’s presentation was used for the remainder of his tour.
